Manchester ABID Subvention Fund
The Manchester Accommodation Business Improvement District is a ground-breaking initiative led by the city’s hotel and serviced apartment providers to help create new events and additional activities that will attract more people to visit and stay in Manchester and Salford. Subvention is a financial grant, issued and administered by the Manchester ABID, which assists with attracting conferences, allowing Manchester to secure and host more major business events, directly attracting city visitors to provide bed-nights, and programming for dip periods in the calendar. All applications are assessed using a common framework, which takes into account both the economic impact generated, and an assessment of how the conference aligns to the Manchester ABID’s strategic objectives.
